We offer popular and challenging placements to students of nursing, social work and occupational therapy. We have good links with local higher educational institutions running these programmes, and contribute regularly to the quality monitoring of local social work programmes.

We offer a real hands-on experience of professional practice working in alliance with service users and in partnership with mental health and housing agencies. Our values and practice are clear and we enjoy providing our students with challenging, supportive supervision and practice education sessions.

A number of students have gone on to work with us post-qualification; we offer ongoing professional development support for those who wish to maintain their professional registration, including the opportunity to become qualified to mentor
and supervise students.

Students who would like to be considered for a placement with us should speak with their college/university tutor or placement co-ordinator. We expect that all students will spend up to a day with us before they and we decide whether the placement would be good for all parties.
