Health & Wellbeing Service Celebrates a Double Success

Julian Support's Health & Wellbeing service heard about its success with two bids within a week of one another.

The excellent news is the culmination of several years work for Paul Lefever (Health & Wellbeing manager) and his team.  They have clearly been able to communicate their vision to funders for services that engage people in the therapeutic possibilities of challenging outdoor activities.

One of the contracts will enable the Discovery Quest walking therapy initiative to provide its award-winning programme to service users across Norfolk. The funding is from the Lottery and will be for three years.

The second contract will allow Julian Support to enhance its current Health & Wellbeing team to develop an exciting new mountain therapy programme for ex-services personnel who are experiencing post traumatic stress.
The funding is from Help for Heroes, Walking with the Wounded and NHS Norfolk. It is for one year initially.
The programme will be available to ex-services personnel living in East Anglia.

For more details about either programme, including how to make an application, please contact Paul Lefever at or 07540 723137
