Women-only Service Transfers to Julian Support

The Ashcroft service, based near Wymondham, Norfolk was founded in 1986 and has been managed by Break Charity since 2007.

The transfer of the residential scheme and supported housing team has been completed following agreement between Julian Support, Break and Norfolk commissioners.

It has been a pleasure working with Break, and staff at Ashcroft, to ensure the smooth transfer of what is a highly regarded service. The very special nature of Ashcroft will lead to a greater range of choice for our service users.

Julian Support Operations Manager, Rachel Omori acknowleged, "the experience and positivity of the staff team will be a valuable asset to Julian Support".

Penny Newton, Ashcroft's residential manager said, "the foundation of Ashcroft still remains true and we are sure this move to a well-respected mental health organisation will only enhance the work that we undertake".

The residential scheme will be the first service that has required Julian Support to be registered with the Care Quality Commission.
