We were highlighted in ‘Shelter-Safe as Houses’ (Feb 2006) for our inclusive approach to housing drug users’, based on the policies and model of service delivery adopted by our 24 Hour Supported Housing services.
We contributed to the Home Office research, and delivered workshops at the follow up conferences in 2008, for ‘Improving Practice in Housing for Drug Users’. We were also involved in a follow up conference hosted by ‘Shelter’.
Contributions to best practice
We are one of the few non-NHS organisations in the country that provide an Assertive Outreach (AO) Service, We have delivered workshops at the National Forum for Assertive Outreach and the East Anglia Regional Forum, currently partnership chair for the Regional Forum for AO.
