Floating Support

I relied on the service for help with keeping my right to dignity when dealing with authorities."

Our floating support teams provide housing related support across the region. We are passionate about our clients' right to live the independent life of their choice.

We respect the individuality of our clients and listen to what matters to them. We work together to produce an individual support plan that best reflects their needs and desires. The ultimate goal of our service is to help people develop their own skills, strengths and resources so they can live fulfilling and rewarding lives in their community.

We offer expert advice on housing, homelessness, benefits
and debt, as poor housing and low income are often major barriers to recovery and wellbeing.

We also work with our clients, where appropriate, on developing key life skills like budgeting, home making, problem solving, being a good neighbour and playing a part in the local community.

We work in partnership with statutory mental health teams, housing providers and community organisations to provide a seamless service. This not only means that problems can be resolved more effectively but also that the client is fully informed and at the centre of all decision making.
