Supported Housing

Julian Support made living independently less stressful and made
it easier for me to adapt to leaving my parents' home."

We provide support to people in a range of supported housing schemes
in Norfolk and Suffolk. Our focus is on empowering tenants to build
and maintain skills that will enable them to live independent and
meaningful lives.

Whilst independent living is always our goal it is recognised that not everyone is in a position to manage this straight away. We offer a variety of housing solutions to provide the necessary levels of support that meet people’s needs. All our schemes are owned by registered social landlords and individuals have their own tenancy agreement, setting out their rights and responsibilities.

We work to a strengths and recovery model and offer practical advice and assistance. We work with our clients to assist with daily living skills, benefits, budgeting, accessing social activities and exploring opportunities for work and education. When people feel ready to move on we have the skills and experience to offer housing advice and assist with accessing independent accommodation.

We work in partnership with our clients, their families and friends, and wider care teams to promote and maintain good mental health and wellbeing.

Referrals to our supported housing service are considered by a multi agency panel, which ensures that the accommodation provided will best meet the person's needs.
