Our Ashcroft CQC registered residential care service provides specialist care and support for women with complex mental health needs.

The accommodation comprises 12 bedrooms over two floors. It provides Respite Care, Extended Care and placements for move on from hospital for people who are medically fit to be discharged. All ground floor rooms are wheelchair accessible. In the main part of the house, there is a communal lounge, kitchen, dining area and a garden room. There is also an art room, large garden and patio area.

Support is provided by a women-only team and is available 24hrs per day, including sleep-in cover.

The support you receive will depend on your needs and will be detailed in your support plan, which uses the Outcome Star to help you to identify steps towards achieving your goals.

We will provide a safe, healthy and positive residential care environment to support you on your pathway to recovery.

Our aim is to enable you to live as independently as possible, with staff support to help you learn new skills and build on those you already have.

The service is for adult women who experience mental health difficulties, and who live in Norfolk. Many of the women we support have additional complex needs, including self-harm, eating disorders and substance use issues.

The length of stay is dependent on the type of service required. Extended Placements can be up to two years, hospital move on is for a maximum of two weeks and Respite is usually for one to two weeks.

We have one bed available to spot purchase, which can be accessed by women from any part of the country.
