I'm so grateful to Julian Support and my support worker. I now have a space of
my own."
Some people are not quite at the stage to manage on their own. Our non 24 hour supported accommodation in Suffolk and Norfolk provides an outreach service that works with tenants to gain the skills, experience and confidence to move on to full independence.
Our support is individually tailored to the person’s needs and is available for a set number of hours each week. Using the strengths and recovery models we work with each tenant on their own, unique support plan. We work together to assist with daily living skills, benefits, budgeting, accessing social activities and exploring opportunities for work and education. When people feel ready to move on we have the skills and experience to offer housing advice and assist with accessing independent accommodation.
We work in partnership with our clients, their families and friends, and wider care teams, to promote and maintain good mental health and wellbeing.
Referrals to our supported housing service are considered by a multi agency panel, which ensures that the accommodation provided will best meet the person’s needs.
All our schemes are owned by registered social landlords and individuals have their own tenancy agreement setting out their rights and responsibilities.
