The Admission Prevention Service is a collaboration between Julian Support, Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board and Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT).

The service supports people who are highly likely to be admitted, or re-admitted, to a psychiatric hospital without stepped-up support in the community.

The service provides support to people who live in Norfolk and Waveney between the hours of 10:00 and 20:00, seven days per week including bank holidays. People accessing the service can receive one hour of daily support, depending on the needs of the person, for up to six weeks at a time.

The Admission Prevention Service offers people a wide range of emotional and practical support.
