“I couldn’t have wished for better help and visits. The support was amazing!”

What is the aim of ARCH?

Our focus is on short-term crisis intervention. We support people to stay in their home, with the aim to prevent the need for a hospital admission or re-admission.

We work in collaboration with Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) and other partners in the crisis pathway.

The service can provide support for people who are highly likely to be admitted to hospital without stepped-up support in the community - pre-admission.

The service can support people to re-integrate into the community with the aim to prevent re-admission. The service can start working with people up to two weeks prior to their discharge - discharge support.

When does the service operate?

Core support hours:

  • Norfolk & Waveney 9:30am-8pm
  • West Suffolk 9:30am-5:30pm

Referrals can be taken between 9am-5pm

We operate 7 days per week, including bank holidays.
