At Julian Support, we offer student placements that provide practical experience and opportunities for professional development. Our placements focus on collaboration, encouraging students to explore their own strengths, ask questions, and engage critically with our ways of working. By listening to student ideas and feedback, we foster an environment of shared learning and continuous growth.
Throughout their placement, students will be supported by a dedicated placement coordinator. Regular 1:1 meetings will be held to review progress, provide feedback, and address any concerns, ensuring that students are fully supported in their development and learning.

Current Placement Opportunities
We offer placements to adult and mental health nursing students at the University of Suffolk, as well as spoke placements for paramedics. Placements are currently based in our supported housing services in Ipswich. If you are a student from the University of Suffolk and are interested in a placement with us, please speak to the University for guidance on how to apply.
Please note that our placements are not formally assessed, allowing students to focus on gaining practical experience in mental health support work within a community setting.
