What is the aim of LiNC?
LiNC is designed to support people who are struggling with their mental health and so need assistance accessing support.
Our staff provide a customised, accessible approach for people who may otherwise find it difficult to engage with services.
When does the service operate?
We operate Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Who is eligible to access this service?
People who:
- Are 18+
- Live in the Norwich boundary
- Have severe and enduring mental health issues
- Are experiencing additional challenges in their life and need help accessing support
How long can someone have support from LiNC?
Currently there are no fixed time limits for the provision of support
What does this service offer?
We work with people who have severe and enduring mental health problems and are experiencing difficulties in other areas of their lives. This could be with their health, housing, finances or with social isolation.
Our staff provide a customised, accessible approach for people who may otherwise find it difficult to engage with services.
We work in conjunction with Norwich City Council, Citizens Advice, Age UK and St Martins Housing.
What is the referral process?
LiNC referrals are made through Norwich City Council as part of the Support Now project.
